With the participation of more than 424 companies representing 26 countries, the Saudi Plastics and Petrochemical Industries Exhibition 2020, which coincided with the Saudi Printing and Packaging Exhibition, successfully concluded its activities after lasting for 4 days from January 13 to 16 at the Exhibition and Convention Center in Riyadh under the patronage of H.E. Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

This session was of great importance as a major pillar to enable Saudi companies to establish a base for petrochemical and manufacturing industries, in line with the national trend in raising the output of the petrochemical sector from $133.33 billion to $453.3 billion by 2030. This will contribute to increasing non-oil exports to reach $666.66 billion by the same year."
Revealing the latest innovations and products to specialists The 17th edition of the Saudi Print & Packaging Exhibition was characterized by the unveiling of the latest innovations and products to specialists and experts from all over the world, opening a wide horizon for exhibitors and visitors to learn more about the investment opportunities available in the Saudi market while announcing new collaborative projects with international and local entities and providing Saudi companies with the opportunity to access the tools to enter new markets. 70% of the raw materials exported from Saudi Arabia to the world are raw materials for petroleum derivatives, and the value of exports of the plastics and chemicals sectors accounts for about 60% of the Kingdom's non-oil exports, which in turn accounts for 67% of the share of the packaging industry in the Gulf countries."
