Acting Emir of Riyadh inaugurates the second Saudi Securities Forum this evening

This Sunday evening, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz

Acting Governor of the Riyadh Region, will inaugurate the Second Saudi Securities Forum at

the Prince Sultan Hall at the Al-Faisaliah Hotel for two days. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., and the opening ceremony will commence at 4:30 p.m. with a speech by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Al-Zamil noted that the forum, now in its second edition, has received the support and attention of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of the Riyadh Region, and

his interest in economic events in the capital, Riyadh. He added that a

a large turnout of those interested in economic and investment matters, as well as media representatives from various

media outlets to cover the event and highlight the key points addressed by the forum in general, as well as

the session papers in particular over the course of two days, with the participation of numerous economic experts.

Mr. Khalid Al-Muqairn, Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment and Securities Committee, also thanked

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of the Riyadh Region, for receiving the Investment and Securities Committee at his office in Al-Hukm Palace prior to the forum’s launch, which demonstrates His Highness’s interest in economic events in general and the Second Saudi Forum for

Al-Muqairn expressed his hope that the forum would achieve the economic objectives for which the Chamber had mobilized

the Chamber has mobilized all its resources and efforts, and invited numerous economic experts to participate in

a wide range of fields and topics that will be addressed through working papers during the two days of the conference.

Al-Zamil thanked His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of the Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry,

for his patronage of the forum in its second edition. He also thanked the Chamber’s Securities Committee and the Capital Market Authority for their efforts in organizing the forum and expressed his hope

Al-Zamil expressed his hope that the forum’s sessions would attract the attention and attendance of those interested in the economic sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as media representatives from various outlets.

Al-Zamil also highlighted the support and participation of the Capital Market Authority, noting that the forum will be instrumental in achieving

the forum’s intended goals and objectives and to earnestly strive to improve the investment and business environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will have a positive impact on the local economy and

economic activity in general.

Regarding the main topics of the forum on the first day, Al-Muqairin explained that the session will be titled: ’The Financial System and Its Role in Protecting and Supporting Investments” (

The second session will feature an open dialogue with His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulmalik, Chairman of

the Financial Authority, on the market, ways to develop it, and the most prominent issues it faces. This will be followed by

the third and final session, titled: “Governance in the Financial Market… Where Is It Headed?”

The first day will conclude with the opening of the exhibition and an honor ceremony for the sponsors, presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of the Riyadh Region.
