The Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris won the title of “Best City Hotel in the World” for 2015 in the “Galivant Guide” magazine rankings., His Royal Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kingdom Holding Company, expressed his delight at the award, noting that the George V Hotel is the finest and most prestigious in the world.
Among the key factors that make the George V Hotel unique are its luxury, sophisticated interior design, and exquisite architecture. The hotel’s furnishings blend classic and modern styles, uniquely adorned with decorative elements and floral arrangements, in addition to meticulous attention to the finest details. The hotel also features the famous Le Sank restaurant, which offers all visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.
It is worth noting that Prince Al-Waleed purchased this distinctive Parisian property in 1996 for $178 million to completely restore it, which required closing the hotel for two years starting in December 1997, before it was reopenedin its new form in 1999. The cost of the hotel’s restoration amounted to $125 million, bringing the total cost of the project to $303 million, which reflects the care Prince Al-Waleed devoted to restoring the splendor and charm of this Parisian masterpiece.
