His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, affirmed that the Restatex Riyadh Real Estate Exhibition has, over the course of 35 years, become a leading platform reflecting the development of the real estate sector in the Kingdom, noting that its continuity and growth reflect the strength of the market, investor confidence, and its ability to adapt to changes and keep pace with development goals.
During his speech at the opening of the 35th edition of the Restatex Riyadh Real Estate Exhibition, Al-Haqil explained that the real estate sector is entering a new phase characterized by the quality of planning, the speed of completion, and the clarity of roles among regulatory bodies, developers, and investors. He emphasized that regulations and legislation have become a key enabler of growth, and that the partnership between the public and private sectors represents the foundation of sustainable development.
He explained that the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has worked over the past few years to create a supportive regulatory environment that contributes to increasing the efficiency of real estate development, enables initiatives that add real value to people and places, and transforms aspirations into realistic projects.

He noted that real estate development in 2026 has become more closely linked to quality of life and sustainability, given the trend toward green buildings, smart cities, parks, and accessibility to services, explaining that the exhibition is not limited to showcasing residential projects but serves as a comprehensive platform for presenting sustainable urban models that support economic growth, conserve resources, and enhance quality of life.
In the context of supporting the investor’s journey, he highlighted the development of the “Itmam” Developer Services Center "Etmam," which offers 38 integrated digital services through clear and standardized pathways, thereby streamlining procedures, increasing business efficiency, and enhancing the attractiveness of investment in the real estate sector.

His Excellency Minister Al-Hogail highlighted the support the sector receives from the wise leadership —may God support them—in creating an enabling environment and advancing the urban development process, emphasizing that the current phase represents an opportunity to promote innovation, empower national talent, and build more prosperous cities with a higher quality of life for Saudi families.
It is worth noting that the 35th edition of the Restatex Riyadh Real Estate Exhibition 2026 will be held from February 11 to 14, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, The exhibition will feature the launch of the first edition of the PropNext Forum, which serves as a specialized discussion platform where sessions will address topics related to real estate legislation, financing tools, investment attractiveness, and real estate development trends.
