Riyadh's Second Furniture and Mobilization Exhibition and Increased Demand

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the Furniture and Home Furnishings Exhibition on Sunday, September 1, at the Riyadh Exhibition Center in the Al-Murooj neighborhood of Riyadh. The exhibition features bedroom, dining, and living room sets and will run for five days. The distinguished newspaper Imlak is sponsoring the exhibition as part of its commitment to stimulating economic activity and supporting businesspeople at all events and occasions. His Highness inaugurated the exhibition, toured the exhibitors’ booths, and inspected the distinctive products; he then presented commemorative plaques to the participants. The exhibition was notable for the large number of families in attendance who made direct purchases from the exhibitors, forcing the exhibitors to sell out their products a day before the exhibition ended. Numerous Turkish and Egyptian companies, as well as some local manufacturers, participated in the exhibition. The newspaper “Imlak” conducted a survey regarding the exhibition and its economic impact on participants, who unanimously agreed that it was a unique experience. The result was that we were satisfied with the organization despite the lack of publicity and advertising regarding the event’s opening. The organizer explained that the delay in advertising was due to a delay in obtaining the permit to hold the exhibition, which put us in an awkward position and caused a time crunch; however, thank God, what we accomplished was satisfactory to the participants, who appreciated the situation and understood that the delay was beyond our control. We hope to obtain the permits under the new organizational structure more quickly so that we have enough time to hold a massive exhibition that benefits everyone.
