“The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones «MODON» has announced the adoption of a package of various benefits, incentives, and facilities to create a suitable environment for industrial investments, the most important of which is offering preferential prices for industrial land.
Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at »MODON,» explained that industrial investors in the Kingdom now have access to numerous facilities and opportunities, as «Madin» has adopted a nominal and encouraging approach to industrial land lease fees to incentivize investors amid the continuous rise in maintenance, operating, and cleaning costs.
Al-Husayni added that the rental cost per industrial square meter—including all direct and indirect expenses—ranges from one riyal to a maximum of five riyals per year, making it among the lowest in the region, thereby ensuring continued investment incentives and support for industry in promising industrial cities, in line with the state’s policy of achieving balanced development in less-developed regions, and thereby enhancing their development opportunities, localizing technology, and creating jobs there.
It is worth noting that «Madin» provides all necessary services, including integrated infrastructure implemented to the highest standards, as well as support services, as well as incentives and facilities, backed by additional incentives such as customs exemptions for machinery and raw materials, in addition to access to loans from the Industrial Development Fund that may reach 75% of the total financing, particularly in promising regions, as well as competitive rates for electricity, water, and fuel services—all of which are highly encouraging benefits that motivate investors to launch their industrial projects.
