The Ministry of Tourism carried out more than 19 thousand monitoring visits on hospitality facilities and temporary hostels for housing pilgrims in Mecca and Medina, to ensure the readiness of the hospitality sector to receive pilgrims in the Hajj season 1447 AH.<The Ministry's monitoring teams carried out more than 11,000 monitoring visits to hospitality facilities in Makkah and more than 5,000 monitoring visits to hospitality facilities in Madinah, emphasizing the need for all activities to adhere to the highest levels of service provided to the pilgrims.<The Ministry also carried out more than 3,000 visits to inspect the readiness of temporary hostels for housing pilgrims in Makkah, to ensure the quality of their services and meet the statutory requirements.
In parallel with the control tours, the Ministry's field teams carried out more than 3,300 awareness visits to hospitality facilities in Makkah and Madinah to urge all establishments to comply with the quality standards and license requirements issued by the Ministry of Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism works within an integrated government system that implements the directives of the wise leadership to take care of the pilgrims and reflects the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques“ government to ensure the security and safety of the pilgrims and provide them with all means of comfort.
