Minister of Industry inaugurates a number of industrial projects in Riyadh

As part of efforts to expand the network of factories in the Riyadh region and improve the working environment in industrial cities, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, recently in the presence of the Director General of the Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority (MODON), Engineer Saleh Al-Rashid, inaugurated a group of fully completed service projects in the Second Industrial City in Riyadh.

The projects included a number of facilities, such as a commercial and residential complex for engineers built to the highest standards by Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Subaie & Sons (MASK), the Wahat Restaurant Complex, executed by Al-Himma Holding, as well as the Al-Kafaah Real Estate Company complex, which includes a "Plaza" complex and a modern hotel—the main component of the project—and a project comprising residential units for engineers and their families, and a section for workers with service and recreational facilities, constructed by Al-Diyar Real Estate Company, as well as the Tawq Al-Dar Workers" Housing Complex project, which was executed to a high standard of quality.

It is worth noting that the Second Industrial City in Riyadh was established in 1976 and is the second industrial city in Riyadh overseen by the Authority. with a total area of 18.7 million square meters, located south of Riyadh on Al-Kharj Road. The city comprises 963 factories—either operational or under construction and development—across various industrial sectors, including specialized international factories and leading local enterprises.
