At its meeting held today, Monday, under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him—the Council of Ministers approved the draft "Saudi Arabia Vision 2030," issued pursuant to Economic and Development Affairs Council Resolution No. (3-31/37/Q) dated 12/7/1437 AH, and the contents of the letter from His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, No. (2719), dated 18/7/1437 AH, regarding the draft vision.
The Council has therefore decided the following:
First:To approve the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, regarding which the Council of Economic and Development Affairs issued Resolution No. (3–31/37/Q) dated 12/7/1437 AH, in accordance with the text attached to this resolution.
Second: The Council of Economic and Development Affairs shall establish the necessary mechanisms and arrangements to implement this Vision and follow up on its implementation.
Third: Ministries and other government agencies—each within its respective purview—shall take the necessary measures to implement this Vision, in accordance with the mechanisms and arrangements referred to in Item (Second) of this resolution.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions. My brothers and sisters, fellow citizens: Peace be upon you, and may Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.
Your country was founded on adherence to the Book of Allah and the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him; it is the cradle of the Message and the site of revelation, and Allah has honored it with the service of the Two Holy Mosques and those who visit them.
My brothers and sisters:
Ever since I had the honor of assuming the reins of government, I have set my sights on striving for comprehensive development based on our Islamic principles, harnessing our country’s potential and resources, and capitalizing on our strategic location and unique wealth and advantages to secure a better future for our homeland and its people, while adhering to our pure faith and preserving the authenticity of our society and its core values. From this perspective, we have directed the Council of Economic and Development Affairs to chart the Kingdom’s economic and development vision to achieve our aspiration that our country—with God’s help and guidance —a model for the world at all levels.
We have reviewed the Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs and approved by the Council of Ministers, and we thank the Council for its efforts in this regard. and we hope that our sons and daughters, our citizens, will work together to realize this ambitious vision. We ask God for His help, guidance, and success, and pray that this vision will be a source of good and blessing, bringing progress and prosperity to our beloved homeland.
