«Real Estate and Construction Week» Highlights the Role of Development Projects in Revitalizing the Economy of Asir

Activities continued for “Real Estate and Construction Week,“ organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) in cooperation with the Asir Region Development Authority, and hosted by the Abha Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of a number of government and private entities, continued to discuss the current state of real estate investment in the Asir region and mechanisms to support and develop it.
The sessions on the second day focused on forecasting the future of this investment and reviewing the economic opportunities offered by major development projects in the region, as well as their role in enhancing the attractiveness of the investment environment and stimulating growth in the real estate sector.
The first session reviewed the role that strategic projects play in attracting capital and creating new investment opportunities, as well as the factors that contribute to improving the efficiency of the investment environment and enhancing investors“ success, and exploring investment prospects in the Asir region in light of projects undertaken by Public Investment Fund companies.

Meanwhile, the other session highlighted mechanisms for analyzing the real estate market, analyzing investment opportunities, reviewing the most significant challenges investors may face and ways to mitigate them, and the importance of adopting well-thought-out investment principles that contribute to building sustainable real estate projects and maximizing economic returns.
Participants emphasized that major real estate destinations and projects represent a fundamental pillar for stimulating economic activity and attracting high-quality investments, given the promising opportunities they offer that contribute to the expansion of the real estate sector, support the growth of businesses, and enhancing the competitiveness of the Asir region as an attractive investment destination—in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and strengthen the private sector’s contribution to development.
