All preparations have been completed All preparations have been finalized for the launch of the 2016 Postal, Transportation, and Logistics Support Services Forum, organized by the Saudi Postal Corporation at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh on May 19, 2016, with the participation of government agencies involved in the express transportation and logistics sectors, e-government, and local and international private-sector companies.
The forum is held under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed Al-Suwail, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Post.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Benten, President of the Saudi Post, explained that this forum is based on one of the fundamental pillars of the Kingdom’s Vision, noting that the development of the logistics sector is a priority under the strategy. He noted that the transportation and logistics sector in Saudi Arabia will contribute 12% to the Kingdom’s national economy in 2018, benefiting from economic reforms, the new Vision, infrastructure development, and upcoming strategic projects.
