A Look Back at «Real Estate and Construction Week» Following the Conclusion of Its Events, Which Featured 60 Participating Organizations and 3,000 Beneficiaries

The events focused on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises through investment opportunities, partnerships, financing solutions, and specialized advisory sessions.

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), in partnership with the General Authority for Real Estate and the Saudi Contractors Authority, concluded the “Real Estate and Construction Week," as part of the "Business Weeks“ series, with the participation of 60 entities from the public and private sectors, and with more than 3,000 people benefiting from the week’s activities. The event aimed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs by providing investment opportunities in the real estate and construction sectors, and connecting them with potential partners, financing solutions, and strategic partnerships.

Participation of 28 Exhibitors
The week featured the participation of 28 exhibitors, the organization of 8 keynote sessions, and more than 60 leadership meetings, in addition to more than 650 advisory and guidance sessions, held through business support centers in the cities of Riyadh and Madinah, the provinces of Jeddah and Al-Khobar, as well as the city of Abha in collaboration with the Asir Region Development Authority and the "Work Corner" incubator, and in the city of Sakaka in collaboration with the House of Culture.

The week’s sessions addressed a number of topics related to the real estate and construction sectors, including investment opportunities, empowering small and medium-sized enterprises to benefit from development projects, and enhancing their participation in supply chains, as well as financing solutions, real estate technologies, strategic partnerships, and best practices supporting the growth and sustainability of enterprises, with the participation of a number of officials, experts, and specialists from government and private sectors.

Signing of a Cooperation Agreement
The week also saw the signing of a cooperation agreement between the General Authority for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Monsha’at) and the Saudi Contractors Authority, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction sector by developing joint services and programs and enhancing integration between the two parties“ programs and platforms, thereby contributing to improving the readiness of these enterprises and enabling them to capitalize on opportunities available in the sector.
Abdulaziz Al-Olayan, Vice President for Strategy and Partnerships at the Infrastructure Projects Center, during a panel discussion as part of the week’s events, that the major development projects underway in Riyadh are opening up growing investment opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises, noting that the number of infrastructure project licenses rose from about 50,000 in 2017 to nearly 195,000 in 2025, reflecting the sector’s rapid growth.

He noted that the center has worked to standardize technical specifications and requirements within the ”Infrastructure Projects Code,“ making it easier for companies—particularly small and medium-sized enterprises—to understand the requirements and procedures across the various stages of a project. He also highlighted the existing integration with ”Manshaat“ in supporting innovation, as well as the Center’s adoption of the ”Jadeer“ platform’s classification system, which enhances opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in infrastructure projects.
Abdulaziz Al-Shathri, Director General of Dispute Resolution at the Saudi Real Estate Arbitration Center, emphasized during his session as part of the week’s events that the arbitration system has gained widespread recognition as one of the tools supporting the business and investment sectors, noting that the Center provides specialized tracks for resolving real estate disputes, which help strengthen the investment environment and enable small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the real estate sector to access more flexible and expedited dispute resolution procedures. He noted that the average duration for completing arbitration proceedings is now 30 days.

Exploring Investment Opportunities
”Real Estate and Construction Week“ provided entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises with the opportunity to explore investment opportunities, services, and programs offered by participating entities, build partnerships, and benefit from advisory meetings and specialized sessions that addressed various topics related to the real estate and construction sectors.

The event is part of the ”Business Weeks“ series organized by ”Monsha’at“ throughout the year, which continues to cover a number of economic and development sectors, thereby enhancing the integration of the support system for small and medium-sized enterprises, and connects them with relevant entities, services, programs, and investment opportunities, thereby contributing to enhancing their competitiveness and supporting their growth and sustainability, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
