Yesterday evening marked the conclusion of the fourth day of “Real Estate and Construction Week,“ which featured a series of high-level meetings to discuss the prospects of the real estate and development sectors in the Asir region.
The agenda for the fourth day included two main sessions addressing key issues of concern to investors and real estate developers. The first session, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, focused on the “System for Combating Front Companies,” reviewing the most significant regulatory updates, available solutions to rectify situations, and the importance of regulatory compliance to ensure project sustainability and protect investors.
In a related context, the week featured a groundbreaking session titled “What Makes a Successful Real Estate Project?”, which presented a strategic vision on the fundamental elements that ensure the success of real estate projects in the Saudi market—ranging from rigorous feasibility studies, through the selection of strategic locations, to operations management and marketing, along with the importance of innovation and meeting beneficiaries’ expectations to achieve competitive excellence.
The meetings included intensive consultative dialogue sessions, in which a select group of members from the Real Estate Development and Contractors Committees of the Abha Chamber of Commerce participated. Participants discussed the on-the-ground challenges facing the sector in the region and exchanged insights and proposals for developing the investment environment, emphasizing the Chamber’s role in empowering the real estate and contracting sectors and removing obstacles for practitioners, in line with the Asir Region Development Strategy and the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to promote economic growth and regional development.
It is worth noting that Real Estate and Construction Week serves as a vital platform aimed at exchanging expertise, and transfer knowledge among experts, specialists, and investors, to enhance the sector’s efficiency and stimulate quality investments in the real estate and construction sectors in the Asir region.
