91 % real estate transactions were concentrated in 5 areas last June

Five Saudi regions accounted for the majority of activity real estate market during June 2026, accounting for more than 91% of the total value of real estate sales transactions in the Kingdom.
Data from the monthly real estate market bulletin issued by the General Real Estate Authority showed that the total value of real estate transactions in the top five regions reached approximately 21.56 billion riyals, equivalent to 91.10% of the total value of real estate transactions recorded in the Kingdom during June.

Riyadh Tops the List
The Riyadh region topped the list of the most active regions with a transaction value of 8.04 billion riyals, accounting for 33.97% of the total market, followed by the Makkah region with 6.45 billion riyals and a 27.25% share, then the Eastern Province with 3.20 billion riyals, representing 13.53% of the total.
The Asir region ranked fourth after recording real estate transactions worth 2.75 billion riyals, equivalent to 11.63% of the total transaction value, while Madinah ranked fifth with a value of 1.12 billion riyals, accounting for 4.72% of the Kingdom’s total real estate market during the month.

Rental Market
In the rental market, Madinah continued to rank among the most active regions, taking fourth place in terms of the number of transactions, with more than 24,300 rental transactions, which represents 6.24% of the total transactions nationwide.
The region also ranked fourth in terms of the value of lease contracts, exceeding 496 million riyals in June 2026, equivalent to 5.62% of the total value of rental transactions recorded in the Kingdom during the same period.
