The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing reviewed a package of municipal and regulatory services available through the “Tawakkalna” application , which aims to facilitate access to requirements, shorten the licensing process, and enable beneficiaries to complete municipal services through a clearer and easier digital experience.
The ministry explained that the services include issuing a certificate of compliance that proves the building or facility’s adherence to the approved requirements and conditions, in addition to objecting to municipal fines according to the approved procedures.
The platform also provides licensing and planning services, which combine municipal licensing and planning services related to activities, sites and facilities, in addition to a commercial and municipal activities service that reviews activities and their associated controls and requirements.
The services also include a guide to commercial signs in Riyadh, which explains the requirements and standards regulating commercial signs, and a service to verify the classification certificate to ensure the validity of the classification certificate of the establishment or concerned party.
Submitting applications electronically
The platform also provides a municipal service request for submitting municipal requests electronically, a violations guide that explains the types of municipal violations and the procedures associated with them, in addition to a health certificate issuance service for workers in activities that require health requirements.
The ministry confirmed that making these services available through the “Tawakkalna” application comes within the framework of enhancing digital transformation and facilitating beneficiaries’ access to municipal and regulatory services through a unified platform.
