The the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center conducted more than 37,000 inspection visits on infrastructure projects in the city of Riyadh and the region’s provinces during the month of July 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance compliance, improve the quality of execution, and enhance safety standards at project sites.
The inspection tours resulted in the identification of more than 3,000 violations, while the Center received more than 20,000 reports related to infrastructure projects during the same period, as part of its ongoing monitoring of compliance levels and addressing field observations in coordination with relevant authorities.

Most Notable Violations Identified
The most notable violations identified included failure to comply with project sign requirements, failure to maintain general cleanliness at work sites, and storage of materials, equipment, and tools used outside the scope of the licensed work, as well as failure to comply with the requirements for warning lighting in work zones, in accordance with approved specifications and standards.

These efforts are part of an integrated oversight system led by the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center, with the aim of increasing compliance rates with the Infrastructure Projects Code, and to enhance quality and safety standards in projects, thereby contributing to improved implementation efficiency, as well as enhancing the urban landscape and quality of life in the Riyadh region.
