«Green Homes»… A Contest to Encourage Home Gardening in the Holy Capital

The the Holy Capital Secretariat has launched the “Green Homes” competition, with the aim of encouraging members of the community to arrange plants in their homes, and to promote a culture of caring for vegetation, thereby contributing to the improvement of the urban landscape and enhancing the quality of life.
The Secretariat explained that the contest aims to highlight outstanding home-based initiatives in plant arrangement and includes three categories: Best Indoor Plant Arrangement, Best Plant Arrangement in the Yard and on the Roof, and Best Plant Arrangement on the Home’s Facade, with the aim of highlighting inspiring examples and encouraging practices that contribute to beautifying the residential environment.

It noted that participation in the contest is available by registering via the following links: https://hmm.gov.sa, or through its digital platforms, calling on those wishing to participate to showcase their creativity in plant design and compete for the contest’s prizes.

The Holy Capital Municipality emphasized that the launch of the competition is part of its initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the importance of afforestation and plant arrangement, and to encourage community participation in environmental initiatives, thereby contributing to an increase in green spaces, improving the urban landscape, and enhancing the quality of life in the Holy Capital.
