311 Plans Approved to Support Real Estate Activity in the Asir Region in the First Half of 2026

The Asir Region Secretariat, represented by the Urban Planning Department of the Urban and Land Planning Agency, 311 government and private development plans during the first half of 2026, in a move that enhances the readiness of land for development and supports the growth of real estate activity, keeping pace with the increasing demand for residential and development uses in the region.

The Secretariat noted that the approved plans included 53 government plans and 258 private plans, following the completion of the review process and verification of their compliance with approved planning standards and requirements, thereby enhancing land-use efficiency and supporting development in line with the needs of urban and economic growth.

Increasing the Supply of Land
She emphasized that the approval of these plans contributes to increasing the supply of land ready for development, and paving the way for more residential and urban development projects and related services, thereby boosting real estate investment and supporting the growth of economic activities linked to the construction and building and urban services. Furthermore, accelerating the approval of these plans will improve the efficiency of the real estate market by providing land zoned according to clear standards, and enhancing the private sector’s capacity to develop projects that meet development requirements, thereby contributing to the diversification of investment opportunities and increasing the region’s attractiveness for urban investments.
