The the Holy Capital Secretariat is continuing to carry out its field operations as part of an integrated system of operation and maintenance projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, lighting, tunnels, and parks; thereby contributing to improving the efficiency of infrastructure and maintaining the readiness of public facilities.
Road and sidewalk work included the paving of (4,590) m³, the application of (4,030) m² of traffic paint, and the installation of (2,030) m² of interlocking pavers and slipform paving, and (1,886) linear meters of curbs, while bridge work included (194) routine maintenance operations, and 2,230 m² of concrete surface grinding and painting, in addition to 700 m² of interlocking pavers and slipform paving, and 4,400 linear meters of curbs.
In terms of facilities, lighting, and tunnels, the Secretariat carried out maintenance work that included (26) pedestrian bridges, (81) restrooms, and one parking lot, in addition to the maintenance of 1,820 lighting towers and poles, washing and cleaning 5,344 meters of tunnels, and operating and maintaining 42 fire alarm and suppression systems; all of which contribute to operational efficiency and service continuity.
In the area of parks and landscaping, the work included mowing (8,000) m² of green spaces, pruning and trimming (718) trees, and mowing and trimming (11,620) m² of hedges.
The Secretariat confirmed that it will continue its fieldwork in accordance with ongoing operational plans, thereby improving the efficiency of roads and facilities, maintaining their readiness, and enhancing the level of services provided in the Holy Capital.
