A delegation from the Saudi Contractors Authority, headed by Chairman of the Board of Directors Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, concluded its visit to the French Republic, which included a number of meetings and visits aimed at strengthening international cooperation, learning about advanced experiences and practices in the building and construction sector, and exchanging knowledge and expertise to help support the competitiveness of Saudi construction sector .
During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of the French Construction Federation, where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the construction sectors in the Kingdom and France, as well as exchanging expertise and knowledge, and expanding channels of communication between contractors and companies in both countries, thereby helping to explore new opportunities for partnerships and joint ventures.
The delegation also visited the Scale One Center, operated by Bouygues Construction, and learned about the center’s experience in developing and testing construction technologies, materials, and solutions within an environment that simulates actual construction conditions. The visit included an exchange of expertise on innovation in the construction sector and a discussion of modern solutions and technologies that contribute to improving construction efficiency, advancing best practices, and enhancing the sector’s competitiveness.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, emphasized that the construction sector in the Kingdom is experiencing rapid growth and significant opportunities driven by the scale of projects and the development taking place in the Kingdom, noting that strengthening the sector’s international relations contributes to knowledge transfer and the adoption of modern technologies, business models, and advanced practices. He added that the Authority is working to build effective ties between contractors in the Kingdom and their counterparts in international markets, thereby facilitating the exchange of expertise and the exploration of opportunities, and supporting the development of national companies’ capabilities and enhancing their competitiveness.
