Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Riyadh will host the 15th Trade Fair for Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment in cooperation with the OIC, the Islamic Center for Trade Development, and the Council of Saudi Chambers, at the Riyadh International Exhibition andExhibitions and Conferences next week, from May 22–26.

Boosting Trade

The exhibition organizers aim to showcase the products, industries, and services of OIC member states; boost trade; promote intra-OIC investment opportunities; and deepen cooperation in various economic fields among member states, as well as to highlight investment, trade, and economic opportunities in the host country to member states, businesspeople, and investors from participating countries; to open new markets for the products and industries of participating countries; and to stimulate trade between member states and the host country.

30 countries participating

The Islamic Trade Fair is held every two years in one of the Islamic countries, and more than 30 Islamic countries are participating in this edition, including: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iraq, Sudan, Mauritania, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Turkmenistan, and other Islamic countries.

Investment and Cooperation Opportunities

This exhibition offers business owners and institutions numerous opportunities for private-sector cooperation in various fields, such as finding new markets for their products and services, establishing joint ventures, providing financing methods for intra-Islamic trade, identifying opportunities for cooperation in industrial projects, and expanding the horizons of trade exchange among Islamic countries.

The Saudi Pavilion and a Reflection of the Kingdom’s Economy

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion takes center stage at the exhibition; it is the largest pavilion at the event, covering an area of 1,050 m² and featuring numerous goods and products that reflect the strength and diversity of the Kingdom’s economy, which has achieved global prominence, with Saudi non-oil exports reaching more than 100 countries worldwide, totaling over 200 billion riyals annually.
