The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center announced that there are 17 days left to receive submissions for the second edition of the Infrastructure Award 2026, which aims to honor distinguished entities and individuals in the sector, and to stimulate practices, research and solutions that contribute to the development of infrastructure projects, as registration continues until October 15.
The award includes six tracks, including: the distinguished contractor, the distinguished service provider, scientific research for researchers, scientific research for students, innovation, and environmental sustainability; thus allowing participation for contracting companies, service providers, researchers, university students, and innovators, according to the conditions and criteria of each track.

Improving the quality of project implementation
The award aims to improve the quality of project implementation, enhance adherence to standards, encourage integration among stakeholders in the sector, and support scientific research, innovative solutions, and sustainable practices, in line with the needs of the Riyadh region and contributing to improving the urban landscape.

The Outstanding Contractor Track focuses on quality of work and compliance with the requirements of the Infrastructure Projects Code. The Outstanding Service Provider Track is dedicated to entities that have achieved outstanding performance in quality, coordination, and planning efficiency in infrastructure projects. The Scientific Research Track focuses on studies related to the sector, the Innovation Track targets applicable solutions to address its challenges, and the Environmental Sustainability Track celebrates contracting companies that apply outstanding environmental practices in their projects.
The second edition comes as an extension of what the first edition in 2025 achieved in highlighting models of excellence in the sector; as it witnessed the crowning of four companies in the distinguished contractor track in the water, communications, electricity, roads and public domain sectors, and the National Water Company receiving the Distinguished Service Entity Award, in addition to honoring three winners in the scientific research and innovation track, within the activities of the Global Infrastructure Forum and Exhibition in Riyadh.
