The Jeddah Governorate Municipality has removed the red zone from 3,787 plots of land within the Al-Malisa grant schemes south of the governorate, allowing the owners of the included lands to benefit from municipal services and complete the procedures available through the (Baladi) platform.
The Secretariat explained that removing the red layer from the covered lands means ending the municipal restrictions associated with the red zone, and making available the municipal procedures and services prescribed for them, including submitting applications for licenses and related regulatory procedures in accordance with the approved regulations and requirements.

The municipality clarified that applications for municipal services for land plots included in the red zone removal process are submitted through engineering offices, which can complete the associated municipal procedures. The Jeddah Governorate Municipality affirmed its continued work on studying lands still within the red zone across the governorate and completing the necessary technical and regulatory procedures. These procedures will be addressed in phases as part of its efforts to facilitate municipal services, resolve land and development issues, and enable beneficiaries to complete their procedures in accordance with established regulations.
