.The exhibition kicked off after the Chairman of the Saudi Electricity Company, Dr. Saleh Al-Awaji, opened the Saudi Energy Exhibition, who said in a statement after the opening that the loads increase annually at high rates, which are from 6 to 7%, where they recorded unusual rates globally, revealing that the increase in loads was recorded last year for the electricity system in peak hours by about 10%, this is a large number, if we take into account the full capacity of production, which exceeds 60 thousand MW, and therefore the increase of 10% means an increase of 6000 MW, and these are challenges, which require high investments.
Delivering state-of-the-art energy
This year's edition recorded a 43% increase in the number of visitors over the previous year 2015, providing a platform for exhibitors and visitors to learn about the latest in the energy industry, discuss market trends, showcase the latest energy equipment and services, establish global partnerships and capitalize on new business opportunities in the industry.
