Yesterday evening, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Al-Qassim Region, handed over 20 housing units as the first phase of the charitable housing project he initiated in the Abanat Center (Dali" Rashid), which is part of the Al-Nabhaniyah Governorate in the Al-Qassim Region. Accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, His Highness toured the site and inspected one of the housing units, His Highness also listened to a detailed explanation of the units and their amenities from the Chairman of the Charitable Housing Committee in Abanat, Muhammad Al-Awfi, who explained that the project was implemented as a first phase comprising 20 housing units, designed to meet all the families" needs. Each housing unit was built on an area estimated at 100 to 120 square meters, and the units were completed in just 40 percent of the project’s scheduled timeframe, benefiting 162 individuals from 20 families. We extend our thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region for his guidance and support of the project, enabling it to continue serving and developing the community.

His Highness announced the establishment of a charitable housing association to assist needy families in the Al-Qassim region by providing them with housing and developing their capabilities to achieve a better life for themselves and future generations, God willing, noting the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince for housing projects, and praising the attention King Salman—may God support him—pays to charitable work. He is considered —may God preserve him—a pioneer of charitable work in the Kingdom and the founder of humanitarian projects that have cemented the concept of social solidarity among the nation’s citizens through the King Salman Charitable Housing Association, which will serve as a model for us in this field.

His Highness described the charitable housing project as one of the pillars of social stability for these needy families, noting that the steps taken to establish it constitute a truly remarkable achievement. He praised the level of execution he witnessed, His Highness emphasized that whenever there is the will and effective management, we will achieve what we aspire to and fulfill the goals of our wise leadership, and this was evident in the establishment of the charitable housing project in Abanat—Dali’ Rashid.
