According to a study of land use in Riyadh, the results of which were presented last Wednesday at the third meeting of the Commission for the year 1437 AH, the total number of buildings in Riyadh reached about 517 thousand buildings, including about 20 thousand buildings under construction, and the number of housing units amounted to more than 1.2 million housing units with a total development area of 270 square kilometers, of which villas constitute 52%, apartments 42%, and 6% for the rest of the other types of housing units.
