Ministry of Commerce and Investment launches # Partners_2030 initiative in partnership with the private sector to increase GDP to 65%

Recognizing the importance of strengthening partnerships with other sectors, the Ministry of Commerce and Investment launched the # Partners_2030 initiative in partnership with the private sector and business leaders in the Kingdom, with the aim of gathering opinions and proposals regarding the challenges facing the Kingdom’s business and investment environment, and to ensure that the private sector serves as a partner in the growth of the local economy and contributes to creating an attractive and stimulating investment environment, and to support Saudization programs and ways to develop them to help achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

In the same vein, the Ministry of Commerce and Investment sent letters to all companies listed on the Saudi stock market, as well as foreign companies, commercial banks, and various private-sector entities, outlining the most important goals of the Kingdom’s Vision—namely, increasing the private sector’s contribution to gross domestic product from 40% to 65%—and emphasizing the of the private sector in the development process and in achieving prosperity and well-being for citizens.
