Registration begins for the Engineering Fundamentals and Professionals exams”

The Saudi Board of Engineers has started registration for the Fundamentals of Engineering and Professional Engineers exams, in cooperation with the US National Board of Engineering Examiners, which will be held on October 27, 2013 in Dhahran.
Engineer Ghazi bin Saeed Al-Abbasi, Secretary General of the Commission, explained that the tests will be supervised by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American National Board of Engineering and Surveying Examiners in the United States of America, based on the agreement signed between the Saudi Board of Engineers and the American National Board of Engineering and Surveying Examiners responsible for providing these tests in its two stages of engineering fundamentals, which is called in other cases the engineering professional.
He added that passing the Fundamentals of Engineering test, which will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013, is one of the requirements for obtaining the degree of associate engineer according to the requirements of the Commission, in the specialties of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, where the duration of the test will be 8 hours divided into two morning and evening periods.As for the Engineering Professionals test, it is in different engineering specialties, namely agricultural engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering (construction, geotechnical, transportation, water resources and environment, construction), control systems engineering, electrical and computer engineering
