The National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences has urged beneficiaries, conference organizers, and participating speakers to review the guidelines «Saudi Speakers Bureau» published on the «Your Voice Is Heard» page of the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences" website.
The Executive Director of the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences, Engineer Tariq Abdulrahman Al-Issa, explained that this measure stems from the National Program’s approach of consulting with beneficiaries, understanding their needs, and responding to them in order to advance the Saudi meetings industry.He noted that the program works to organize and develop conferences, adding that conferences are considered one of the most effective means of communication, information exchange, capacity building, and knowledge transfer, as well as a driver of economic growth, Therefore, the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences and the program’s advisory group studied the establishment of the Saudi Speakers" Bureau to serve as a tool contributing to the development of the Saudi meetings industry, and for the office to serve as a unified platform for communication and negotiation with international and local speakers participating in conferences held in the Kingdom, in order to provide exhibitions with the best specialized speakers possessing extensive experience.
Al-Issa said that the program’s supervisory committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, approved at its eleventh meeting held on 29/8/1437 AH, the establishment of the Saudi Speakers Bureau to help improve the quality of conferences held in the Kingdom.
