Investments by 400 Saudi companies in Sudan have reached approximately $11 billion. Sudanese Investment Minister Mudathir Abdul Ghani confirmed during a meeting in Khartoum with delegations from the Saudi companies “Qalankour International” and ”Saudi Krouan Holding,” that the Saudi food security project in Sudan, covering an area of one million acres, is one of the largest strategic projects to which the leadership of both countries has devoted significant attention.
The Sudanese minister praised the Kingdom’s growing investments, which underscore the depth of its shared relations with Sudan, noting that the project strengthens the private sector’s role in strategic partnerships focused on production and economic development, and underscores the desire of the leadership in both countries to develop economic relations in a manner that serves Arab food security issues.
