The National Committee for Consulting Offices of the Council of Saudi Chambers in its sixth meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Assem Arab, at the office of the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Asia Al Sheikh in Jeddah, discussed a number of issues related to ways to develop the consulting sector in the Kingdom and the possibility of overcoming the difficulties facing this sector.
Dr. Arab explained that the meeting first discussed the criteria, requirements and mechanisms for evaluating the applications of consulting offices to obtain work visas, where the meeting approved the formation of a working group to develop a final concept on this subject. The meeting also discussed other issues, most notably creating a website for the committee and finding a new logo for the committee to symbolize the consulting sector.
On the other hand, the Chairman and members of the National Committee for Consulting Offices met with His Royal Highness Prince Nawaf bin Faisal, General President of Youth Welfare, where the meeting discussed ways of cooperation between the General Presidency of Youth Welfare and the National Committee for Consulting Offices, through the development of investment in the sports sector and the privatization of clubs and the development of their financial resources.
Dr. Assem Arab, Chairman of the National Committee for Consulting Offices of the Council of Chambers, explained that it was agreed to form a working group between the General Presidency of Youth Welfare and the National Committee for Consulting Offices to develop the necessary studies on the issues raised in this meeting. He pointed out that the meeting comes within the framework of the efforts undertaken by the committee to introduce the role of consulting offices and their contribution to the localization of this sector.
