The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce has completed its preparations for the annual Businesswomen’s Gala, to be held next Monday evening, September 26, 2016, at the Businessmen’s Club at the Chamber’s headquarters. The event will host a gathering of senior female officials from the public and private sectors, as well as a number of female diplomats and the wives of heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom.

The annual gala for the capital’s businesswomen community attracts significant interest from the women’s business sector and female government officials, as the event has seen increasing attendance aimed at strengthening ties with government officials to help overcome the obstacles facing their projects, It also reflects the status Saudi businesswomen have achieved within the economic and development system, as well as their accomplishments in the business sector, whether in management or in establishing large, medium, and small enterprises.

The event, which the branch traditionally organizes annually following the summer break, marks the start of a new season of commercial and investment activity. It serves as an opportunity to discuss the most significant developments in the field of women’s entrepreneurship, and to review the most pressing business sector issues affecting them, as well as their commercial and investment activities in light of the current global economic conditions.
