The National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers of Commerce is making the necessary preparations to link more than 30 thousand real estate offices in the Kingdom electronically to organize real estate offices and link real estate offices to the website of the National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers and benefit from offers and requests and work on trying a real estate index that provides service to beneficiaries and provide the National Real Estate Committee with a report on real estate prices in each region.
Hamad Al-Shuwaier, Chairman of the National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers, confirmed that there is a proposal regarding the system of listing service and real estate prices so that this system is under an official umbrella and that its application is accompanied by a high level of professionalism and the possibility of updating the data automatically, adding that there is a trend to link real estate offices to the committee's website and benefit from offers and requests, and to organize a visit to the Ministry of Justice to review and benefit from the experience of the real estate index that provides a service available to beneficiaries showing the area, number and value of sale and purchase transactions of commercial and residential lands and properties registered with notaries in the main cities of the Kingdom during the year.
In the same context, a group of opinions, studies and recent reports confirm that the Saudi real estate market is poised to witness a major revival in the next phase, with the availability of economic stimuli under the mantle of the Saudi economy, as well as the availability of the appropriate environment to build very large real estate projects that meet the requirements of the market in the Kingdom, cover the demand that is increasing day by day on the quality of real estate projects suitable for the next stage, and work to meet the market needs of residential and office units and provide appropriate and affordable housing for all categories,
A number of economists and analysts pointed out that the Kingdom still needs to support small and medium-sized developers to contribute effectively to the expansion of individual housing ownership, in anticipation of the launch of a financing company targeting small and medium-sized developers, and a recent report pointed out that the plans set by the government to build 500 thousand housing units will not meet the future demand of the housing sector, in light of the increased growth of the youth segment, which doubles the challenges facing it, stressing that the government housing plan drawn in this regard covers the need for less than 25 percent of the volume of demand in the near future, indicating (report) that the other challenge that increases the crisis in the housing sector in the near future.
