It is worth noting that the Ministry has provided a number of incentives through the implementation of the Unified Industrial Regulation for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including financing through the Industrial Fund and industrial land through industrial cities—whether the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Industrial Cities Authority, or the Economic Cities Authority, as well as municipal industrial zones, which house a number of light industries. Other incentives include customs exemptions for industrial inputs such as raw materials, machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
