Women's projects in Al-Ahsa have achieved high leaps, as the number of projects submitted to the «Riyada National Business Institute» project from Al-Ahsa girls has so far reached 50 women's projects, as Al-Ahsa girls have turned to self-employment and the establishment of small projects, and their interest in work and its directions has expanded and is no longer limited to seeking or waiting for a job, whether from the private or government sector, and they have become keen to establish their own work by choosing the appropriate field for them and their interests and what they are good at implementing.

For her part, the coordinator of «Riyada« Al-Ahsa branch, Ahlam Al-Melhem, explained the trend of girls and their passion for self-employment, especially that the institute offers girls through its project to evaluate leadership and entrepreneurial qualities regarding her small or medium-sized project through a course offered to the entrepreneur «Motivation and self-development course« of five hours, through which a certificate is awarded, She added that the project is not limited to giving the girl a sum of money only, but one of its priorities is to guide the girl on how to prepare an economic feasibility study and draw thoughtful plans for his project by enrolling her in the «Start Your Small Business« course for three weeks at a rate of 60 hours, and the entrepreneur is awarded a certificate for attending the course. It also seeks to sharpen her skills and refine the entrepreneur's talent needed to start operating her project, in addition to facilitating her access to a non-profit loan from funding bodies, and facilitating the entrepreneur's access to a monthly salary for 24 months if she meets the conditions from the Human Resources Fund.
As for the obstacles that girls face through government papers, Al-Melhem said that the project, through the support it provides to girls, works to overcome obstacles in granting licenses and procedures required for the project, and helps her obtain the appropriate equipment for her project at the lowest cost and in the most effective way. It does not only put her at the beginning of the road, but also guarantees her advice and guidance for a whole year for her project by specialized female mentors,
she added. She explained that three women's projects have been established so far and 12 women's projects have been approved in the first period of the project, and 13 projects have been submitted to the administration for the second period, and the response will come soon. It is noteworthy that “Riyada” is an independent non-profit national institutional organization established at the initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training under the name «National Entrepreneurship Institute", which is concerned with training, qualification, guidance, incubation and facilitating access to financing and licenses for young men and women aspiring to establish and manage small and medium enterprises in all fields, Riyada Institute provides many services characterized by meeting their needs and providing their requirements, especially in the early stages of project life to ensure its stability and success, as this program is a leading program at the national and Arab levels.
