Achieving the ambitious economic goals addressed by the “Saudi Vision 2030“, such as raising the percentage of exports of non-oil products to 50% instead of 16%, achieving the first place regionally and 25th globally in the field of logistics support services and raising the percentage of foreign investment to more than 5%, will only come through achieving real development in the Kingdom's infrastructure, and developing this infrastructure can only come through the launch of various real estate projects in all fields, residential, commercial, services, entertainment. To achieve this vision, we need a real estate awareness that keeps pace with the development we witness daily. <Despite all these events, we still need ”real estate awareness“ and conferences specialized in real estate affairs away from the narrow view of profitability, conferences that deal with distinctive real estate experiences and projects, in addition to the latest legislation regulating the real estate field, and here we do not deny the role of the Saudi Commission for Certified Valuers (Taqeem) in organizing the practice of the real estate profession and its notable activities in training and qualifying real estate practitioners, the latest of which is the ”Conference on the Reality and Future of the Real Estate Valuation Profession in the Kingdom“, which concluded in Riyadh on November 9, and its most important recommendations were the importance of including an academic track in Saudi universities to study the real estate industry, which is considered one of the most important industries in our national economy and represents more than 70% of the world's wealth, and real estate is a safe haven for capital.

<Raising awareness of real estate practices requires serious steps to properly serve this field and replace random practices with professional practices that effectively contribute to the development of the real estate sector in the Kingdom. We refer here to the ”real estate valuation" process as very important in relation to prices. The lack of awareness of real estate valuation and the lack of adherence to regulations and justice raise real estate prices, so there must be transparency and the contribution of official authorities in revealing real estate prices and reports because they are part of the real evaluation and the party that relies on them in the sale prices.

The market needs these services. The market needs these reports to help the efforts of the Valuation Authority, and the reports of the Ministry of Justice are not sufficient because most of our properties are sold as land deeds that do not give the truth about the facilities, their specifications and age so that the price appears fair to all. We also need the efforts of municipalities and urban planning to write the units and their specifications in the deed. Or at least the architectural specifications in the license so that we have good indicators.
