In line with the social responsibility plans followed by Argan Projects Company, and within the company's activities in protecting the environment, and realizing the importance of environmental awareness and spreading it in the community, Argan Projects Company, in cooperation with Johnson Controls, implemented an afforestation program for the Qurtuba Houses residential project northeast of Riyadh.
The General Manager of the company, Mr. Iyad bin Abdulrahman Al-Benyan, said that this project reflects the company's awareness of its social responsibility towards society, stressing that it seeks to play an effective role in increasing environmental, cultural, educational and social awareness and on our environment and society as a whole, pointing out that our environment has become in need of great attention, especially after the high level of carbon dioxide gas, and that planting trees plays a vital role in preserving the environment, through its purification of air from harmful gases.

Al Bunyan added that the attention and care given by the wise government to support environmental protection programs is an incentive for institutions, companies and volunteers to take the initiative to promote environmental conservation. For his part, Engineer Moayad Al Khudairi, Branch Manager of Johnson Controls in the Central Region, said that this cooperation in implementing the afforestation program in the Cordoba Houses project comes within a global program to protect the environment, promote social development and capacity development, and aspire to build a society that constantly works to improve the environment, by planting trees and taking care to increase green spaces, as well as an aesthetic element for cities, sites, public parks and parks.
