The Riyadh Auto Show, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, kicked off today, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center and will run for four days.
His Excellency Engineer Hazloul bin Hussein Al-Hazloul, Undersecretary for Strategic Planning at the Ministry of Transportation, inaugurated the 30th edition of the show. This year’s Riyadh Motor Show features a number of new model launches by major automotive companies in the region and highlights more than 10 new and concept cars being displayed for the first time in the region, representing the latest innovations from the global automotive industry.
This year’s exhibition boasts an outstanding lineup of more than 60 international companies representing the world’s most renowned and leading automotive brands.
This year’s Riyadh Auto Show is being held in conjunction with the Saudi Auto Accessories Exhibition and the Saudi Sports Car Exhibition, and will feature a range of activities and events for car enthusiasts and fans of the automotive world, as well as a showcase of a large number of new, classic, and other vehicles.
On this occasion, the exhibition’s management stated that this year’s edition will unveil the latest car models from international and regional companies and showcase all the latest developments in the automotive world for 2017. This year’s exhibition also features a new look, as it includes, for the first time, sports vehicle pavilions showcasing a diverse selection of the latest motorcycles; to meet the expectations of many motorcycle enthusiasts, making the show a must-visit destination for fans of engines, vehicles, automotive and motorcycle accessories, spare parts, and the latest car accessories.
The Riyadh Motor Show has established itself on the international exhibition calendar, highlighting the importance of this global industry in the Middle East, as the show’s growth and international acceptance serve as a barometer of the international automotive community’s view of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reflected in the strong presence of leading global companies in this sector.
