The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the Facilities and Property Management Committee under the Real Estate Committee, has approved a number of programs targeting young people’s potential, which the committee seeks to implement, such as the “I Appreciate,” which aims to promote a culture of self-employment, encourage initiative, and motivate the creation of job opportunities in the field of facilities and property management; and the “Tamkeen,” which aims to study laws and regulations to improve the legislative environment related to facility management, develop solutions and proposals, and submit them to officials in the relevant authorities, while the “Experiences” program aims to share the experiences of pioneers from countries, institutions, and successful figures in the field of facilities, maintenance, and operations with young entrepreneurs so they can benefit from their experiences and expertise; and the “Business Partners” program aims to hold meetings and workshops with agencies, organizations, companies, and market management whose objectives align with those of the committee to support initiatives and those interested in the activity.The “My Career,” “Enhancement,” and ”My Award” programs were also approved.

This was announced at the first meeting of the Facilities and Property Management Committee, an offshoot of the Real Estate Committee at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Ibrahim Abdulkarim Al-Darwish, where Engineer Muhammad Al-Duraibi was elected as vice-chairman of the committee.

The Chairman of the Real Estate Committee, Aaid Al-Wabri, explained that the meeting reviewed the key pillars of the committee’s strategy, which focuses on working with legislative bodies to develop and update regulations, professional development, defining the profession, and disseminating knowledge.

It is worth noting that the Facilities Committee comprises a select group of professionals interested in the management and development of facilities and properties, namely: Ibrahim Abdulkarim Al-Darwish (Chairman), Eng. Mohammed Khalid Al-Duraibi, Khalid Ali Al-Suhaibani, Khalid Daghim Al-Ajmi, Eng. Salman Abdulrahman Al-Beiz, Eng. Saud Abdulaziz Sanusi, Eng. Adel Mohammed Al-Kharaashi, and Eng. Aaid Awad Al-Qahtani.
