Finishes construction
The second industrial city of Dammam recently witnessed the final touches of the largest factory in terms of area for the production of ceramics and porcelain in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with an area of (277,500) square meters ”Future Ceramics and Porcelain”.
The project consists of two factories: One for ceramics and the other for porcelain, as the factory has two production lines of 650 meters each, which is the longest production lines for ceramic factories in the Kingdom.
During the first phase of production, 40,000 square meters of ceramic and porcelain will be produced daily, divided equally between the two types, and trial production will begin at the end of June 2010.
Mazen Mohammed Al Hammad, Managing Director and CEO of the company, stated that the factory is based on the most advanced Italian technology, as we seek to produce modern tiles according to the highest levels of technology, so we chose Italian technology, so we chose Italian technology, so the production lines are equipped with the latest ovens, pressing machines, spray drying, laser transportation and automatic sorting.
Future Ceramics has contracted with 4 Italian companies specialized in the production of ceramics of all kinds to transfer their technologies to our companies, and Italian companies are characterized by the production of high-quality ceramics with distinctive technical specifications due to their long experience in this field, which has been operating for 100 years, which earned them long experience and long reputation in the ceramic industry.
Al Hammad added: The company pays great attention to the design of products and the creation of new designs and keep abreast of the new and modern ones in the global and local market to ensure the best level of creativity and development in line with all Gulf and international tastes.
Regarding the marketing plan for the products, Al Hammad emphasized that the company targets the Saudi local market and the GCC countries as a first stage, then we will launch in the second stage to the European market specifically to expand its activity to include the entire global market.
