35 local and international organizations participate in the Travel and Tourism Industry Leaders Forum in Riyadh Wednesday

With an international and local presence represented by 35 participating entities and a large number of sector experts, participants, travel and tourism agency officials and interested parties from inside and outside the Kingdom, the “Travel and Tourism Industry Leaders Forum 2017” will be launched on Wednesday, February 8, and will last for two days at Prince Sultan Hall at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Saif Al Islam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, which is supervised by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, organized by Middle Expo, and attended by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and the Arab Tourism Organization.

The importance of the forum lies in the crystallization of the tourism and travel industry through the gathering of an elite group of tourism pioneers annually at the level of the Middle East region, which in turn aims to gather an elite group of tourism and travel industry pioneers from all over the world to exploit these resources and crystallize their industry, to find new destinations of all kinds and to highlight their value.

On this occasion, HRH Prince Dr. Saif Al Islam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz stressed that the Travel and Tourism Industry Leaders Forum 2017 is a golden opportunity to communicate with companies and government tourism authorities in the countries of the world, face to face and under one roof and seize opportunities to develop business and relationship between visitors and buyers, as well as exchange knowledge, information and deals, market products and highlight their identity, and stimulate tourism to the Kingdom.

The Travel and Tourism Industry Leaders Forum, which is an effective platform to meet senior leaders of the tourism sector in the Gulf, Arab and African countries, through the presence and participation of their tourism authorities, aims to provide opportunities for the public to invest in the participating countries and introduce and promote domestic tourism in Saudi Arabia.

The forum was launched in January 2016, with the participation of 35 companies from different countries of the world specialized in the tourism and travel sector and highlighted the potential of the tourism and travel sector in the Kingdom and what it has achieved in the past years, and what it can provide added value to the Saudi economic system, whether in enhancing the country's national income, providing jobs for Saudi youth and reviving other sectors directly or indirectly related to it.
