Prince Saif Al Islam bin Saud explained that the launch of the Travel and Tourism Industry Leaders Forum 2017, in its second consecutive session, is a support for the promising tourism industry in the Kingdom, and the quality tourism and investment opportunities it contains, which contributes to the realization of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the tourism and investment sectors, as one of the most important components and national economic resources.
Prince Saif Al Islam bin Saud said that the forum revealed the value of the value of the tourism and travel industry pioneers forum 2017, in its second consecutive session. The forum revealed that the value of investments for tourism projects in the Arab countries is estimated to reach 323 billion dollars by the end of 2020; and this sector globally supports about 108 million jobs until 2016, and the forum showed that there are more than 277 million people benefiting from the tourism sector; that is, one out of every 11 jobs in the world and in the Arab countries, the tourism sector contributes to the direct employment of nearly 10 million people and constitutes 12% of total jobs in the Arab countries.
The forum revealed that the value of investments for tourism projects in the Arab countries is estimated to reach 323 billion dollars by the year 2020.
