The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Center for Small and Medium Enterprise Development, is organizing this year (2017) approximately 43 programs and events aimed at developing the operational mechanisms of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector and enhancing its role in the national economy. These range from large-scale forums and panel discussions to seminars, lectures, and training courses.
At the forefront of these programs is the Eastern Province Young Entrepreneurs Forum and Exhibition. The Center has developed a detailed action plan for this forum, outlining the plan’s main points and the key tasks of its working committees. In addition, there is the «Riyadoun» program, which showcases outstanding experiences to students at universities and colleges such as Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal University in Dammam, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and technical colleges. Through the Center, the Chamber intends to implement a number of important programs delivered directly to participants via the Chamber’s Young Business Council, including three sessions under the «Mustashark,» designed to support entrepreneurs and provide them with advice and guidance to help them achieve their goals and overcome challenges, as well as three similar sessions under the “My Experience” program.
