With specialized sponsorship from Amlak Real Estate Newspaper, the 14th edition of the Saudi Plastics and Petrochemical Industries Exhibition and the Saudi Printing and Packaging Exhibition will take place from February 27and March 2, 2017, at the Jeddah Convention and Events Center. The exhibition is held under the generous patronage of the Minister of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih.
More than 318 local and regional companies from 20 countries are participating in the exhibition, which is also attracting thousands of visitors specializing in this sector. The exhibition is considered the largest industrial gathering in the Kingdom, contributing to the growth and development of the plastics and petrochemical industries and increasing their contribution to the national economy, as exports of chemical and plastic products account for more than two-thirds of total. This exhibition serves as a direct gateway to the Saudi market, where investment opportunities across various sectors are estimated to be worth billions of dollars.
The Saudi Plastics and Petrochemical Industries Exhibition is the premier destination for investors and businesspeople, as it provides an integrated platform for the chemical and plastics market, whose export value rose to 115.235 million riyals in 2015. Saudi petrochemical exports were among the first to enter global markets and have helped project a positive image of Saudi products in terms of quality and price.
It is worth noting that in its previous editions, the exhibition made a prominent and notable impact by raising awareness of sustainability as a key industrial concept for safeguarding the future of coming generations and optimizing the use of natural resources, and showcasing the latest innovations and trends in the field of environmentally friendly solutions.
This year’s exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, with diamond sponsorship from “SABIC,” and platinum sponsorship from “Saudi Polymers,” in addition to support from the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) as an industrial partner, and a large number of specialized media partners.
