The Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, honored Riyad Bank in recognition of its continued sponsorship of the activities of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants, and its prominent participation in the Fourth Accounting and Auditing Forum, organized by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants on March 7–8, 2017, under the theme “Accounting and Future Aspirations: The Accounting Profession in Achieving Vision 2030,“ in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mohammed Ali Al-Quraishah, Executive Vice President for Finance at Riyad Bank, received the commemorative plaque, emphasizing the bank’s continued commitment to sponsoring activities and programs that contribute to the development of various professional sectors in the Kingdom and reinforce their role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030..
Al-Quraishah extended his congratulations to the Saudi Institute of Certified Public Accountants on the success of the fourth conference, which serves as a unique platform to highlight the important role the accounting profession plays in strengthening the foundations of the national economy, and to shape the vision of how the accounting profession can contribute to the success of Vision 2030. It is worth noting that Riyad Bank sponsored last year’s Third Accounting and Auditing Forum, held under the theme ”Financial Accounting: Facing Future Challenges,” in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. The Accounting and Auditing Forum also enjoyed remarkable success and positive feedback during its previous sessions held in Riyadh and Dammam, thanks to the serious discussions and high-quality presentations it featured.
