The Saudi Investment Bank received an award from the MIT EF Saudi competition in recognition of its commitment to community development and service, as well as its sponsorship of mentoring activities for qualifying teams from Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as organizing a workshop titled “Banking Principles for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurs” for the contestants.

The competition, which emphasized sustainability, lasted more than five months and went through several stages of judging, as well as a number of mentoring sessions and workshops, resulting in the selection of just 45 teams out of 2,000 competing for the prize. The bank is consistently committed to supporting any activity that positively impacts community service, in line with the sustainability principles it embraces and upholds.

The bank’s participation is part of its plans to support the implementation of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to activate the role of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in supporting the local economy. A number of the bank’s employees also participated as volunteers on the judging panel during the first and third phases, as the bank is committed to fulfilling its social responsibility toward members of the community.
