With the wide participation of Amlak Real Estate Newspaper, the Makkah Chamber of Commerce organized an introductory meeting on white fees with the purpose of enlightening and explaining the procedures and clarifying the inquiries that revolve in the mind of many landowners, in which Engineer Mohammed Al-Madihim, the general supervisor of the white fees program in the Ministry of Housing, spoke in the presence of a large number of Makkah Chamber leaders, headed by Mr. Ibrahim Fuad Bardisi, Secretary General of Makkah Chamber, and Dr. Adel Al-Fassi, former director general of the Supreme Authority for the Development of Makkah, and some ministry officials and businessmen, and the participation of Amlak Real Estate Newspaper in covering this meeting and workshop.
Explaining the mechanisms for paying fees
During the meeting, Engineer Al-Madihim gave a detailed explanation of the status of white lands in Makkah, and addressed the mechanisms for paying fees through all stages of the system, and stressed the need to adhere to the program system by those charged with it, and reassured landowners that the mechanism of land evaluation is conducted in a carefully studied manner and several aspects have been taken into account in the evaluation such as services and infrastructure, which makes the evaluation fair and not burdensome for owners, and at the end of the meeting, questions and inquiries were answered from the attendees.
Scope of white lands in Makkah
The ministry recently announced the target geographical scope of the first phase of the white land fee system in Makkah, and called on the owners of land located within the target geographical scope to register their lands and support them with documents and data through the website (Lands.Housing.sa) within a period not exceeding 6 months ending on 4/11/1438.The Ministry of Housing has recently announced the target geographical scope for the application of the first phase of the white land fee system in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The Ministry of Housing explained that this phase includes undeveloped land for residential or commercial residential use with an area of 10,000 square meters and more, located within the geographical scope of 324 million square meters, defined by the fourth ring road and Al-Hajj Street in the north, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Road and the fourth ring road in the east up to Al-Barahim Al-Khalil Road in the west, and the fifth ring road in the south.
