Hamoud Al-Osaimi, Director General of Public Relations at the Real Estate Development Fund, denied that any new categories for beneficiaries had been established or that any citizen had been excluded.

Al-Osaimi explained that the subsidized financing program was approved by the Real Estate Development Fund’s Board of Directors, and any amendment to the program can only be made after the Board’s approval and the official announcement of such amendment.

He said that if approval is granted for a citizen’s application, the applicant will be given a two-year grace period—if they have any outstanding obligations—to settle those obligations before receiving the subsidized financing.
