Emaar Properties has invited a number of international and Emirati companies to participate in the tender for the construction of the Al Khour Tower in Dubai, which will be re-tendered to secure a lower cost than previously offered.
The list of companies invited to participate in the bidding process included: Arab Construction (Lebanon) – Arabtec (UAE) – Balhassa Six Construct (UAE–Belgium) – China General Engineering Construction Corporation – Tishman (U.S.) – Samsung (South Korea). Emaar Properties had received bids for the first tender to construct the Dubai Creek Tower on November 15, 2016.
The Dubai Creek Tower spans an area of 6 square kilometers and is located 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport. It was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava Valls, and its cost is 3.67 billion dirhams. and is set to surpass the height of the Burj Khalifa.
