The Musharaka REIT is a closed-end, publicly traded real estate investment trust established in accordance with the Real Estate Investment Trust Regulations and the guidelines governing publicly traded real estate investment trusts.

The fund’s strategic objective is to provide annual recurring income to unit holders by investing in developed real estate assets capable of generating recurring rental income and located primarily; The fund manager is required to make at least one cash distribution annually, during the first quarter of each year, in an amount not less than 90% of the fund’s net profits. The fund’s assets are diversified across various real estate sectors, such as residential, industrial, and hospitality.

Last August, the fund successfully covered its shares at a rate of % 1021, with the number of subscribers exceeding 12,000—including individuals and financial institutions—who invested 3.8 billion riyals. The fund manager, “Musharaka Financial Company” will allocate 1,000 units (the minimum subscription amount) to each fund subscriber; the remaining units will then be allocated on a pro-rata basis according to subscription requests and the total number of remaining units.

The fund was approved following an application submitted by “Musharaka Financial Company,” and units of the “Musharaka REIT Fund” will be offered on the market as publicly offered units of a traded real estate investment fund.
